Chemical Hose Overview
Jason Industrial offers two chemical hoses for plant and tank truck transfer applications. Two of our hose products alone provide a solution for many common chemicals found in industrial applications today.
4430 Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) Suction Hose
Our first chemical hose option is the 4430 Series Cross-linked Polyethylene Suction Hose. Extremely versatile, the hose is made of a cross-linked polyethylene tube. It is reinforced with double-ply synthetic fabric, a wire helix, and copper static wire to reliably handle a broad variety of chemicals and is covered with green EPDM rubber with a wrap cured finish.
Able to operate in in temperature conditions between -40°F(-40°C) and 194 °F(+90°C), the hose’s EPDM rubber cover provides temperature, weather, and abrasion resistance.
Available in sizes ranging from 3/4″ ID (19.05mm) up to 4” ID (101.60mm), all cross-linked XLPE suction hose sizes are rated for full vacuum.
4433 Ultra-high-molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) Chemical Suction Hose
Our second chemical hose option is constructed with ultra-high-molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). Like our 4430 Series, the blue corrugated cover 4433 hose also uses EPDM as the cover elastomer and is reinforced with two-ply synthetic fabric and a wire helix. UHMWPE tube offers very broad chemical resistance capability.
This hose option also provides strong resistance to heat, weather, and abrasion and is full vacuum. Sizes start at 3/4″ ID (19.05mm) and run up to 4” ID (101.60mm) and is rated for use at temperatures of -40°F(-40°C) and 194°F(+90°C).
